What is a kōan?

I've had many people ask me why I call the company KoanWay?

Well, first of all, what is a koan? A koan is a riddle or puzzle that Zen Buddhists use during meditation to help them unravel greater truths about the world and about themselves.

One of the most famous koans is "Two hands clap and there is a sound, what is the sound of one hand?"
